Join Our Community Interest Waitlist for Future Services
At Snow Belt, we are always exploring new ways to support our community. While certain services, such as homeownership assistance and mobile home replacement, are not currently available, future funding is based on community interest. By signing up for our Future Services Waitlist, you can express your interest and make funders aware of our community needs. Please note that signing up does not guarantee immediate availability but allows us to better plan funding requests to potentially offer these valuable services in the future:
Mobile Home Replacement: A new manufactured housing unit or new stick-built housing unit to replace an existing, sub-standard manufactured or mobile home. The new unit will be located on the same site as the unit that is being replaced.
First-Time Homebuyer / Direct Homeownership Assistance Program: Financial assistance to qualified first-time homebuyers to cover down payment and/or closing costs, plus property rehabilitation expenses when needed.
Accessory dwelling unit (ADU): A smaller, independent residential dwelling unit located on the same lot as a stand-alone (i.e., detached) single-family home. Internal, attached, and detached ADUs all have the potential to increase housing affordability (both for homeowners and tenants), create a wider range of housing options within the community, enable seniors to stay near family as they age, and facilitate better use of the existing housing fabric in established neighborhoods.
