
Rental Rehabilitation
The Rental Rehabilitation service aims to improve rental unit’s health, safety, and energy efficiency. Please note that grant funding is limited and, therefore, is only designated for essential home improvements and cannnot be allocated for cosmetic enhancements.To be eligible for the service, 51% of the units in each building must must not exceed the funding source’s specified income limits for the size of each household.
The construction project must address all items that would cause the rental to violate HUD Housing Quality Standards or local and state building codes first. The following is a priority list of eligible repairs:

Application Process
Step 1: Complete Pre-Application Information
- How? Fill out demographic information, contact information and answer questions about the service you are looking for.
- Why? Completing STEP 1 will allow you to prequalify for services without having to supply all of the verification documents, will secure your place on our waitlist based on the date you submit the information and allow you to ask any specific questions you have regarding services you are applying for.

Step 2: Complete Full Application and Supply Verification Documents
- How? Fill out all information, sign all required documents and consent forms, return all required documents. Verifying documents are required by funding source.
- Why? Completing STEP 2 will allow staff to verify your eligibility for services.
